Posted by Birrd is the name under which Stefan composes and performs his music live. His compositions feature a highly personal blend of melodies created on 80s-era synthesizers and everyday sounds that have been recorded and harmonized.
At his studio in Rouen, Stefan explores the elemental functioning of sound waves and frequencies with the aim of uncovering their secrets. At the same time, he synthesizes electronic instruments, combining his discoveries and creations to expand the horizons of his musical production.
Out of this mix of inspirations emerge unique sonorities and spatial atmospheres that are vaguely reminiscent of Pink Floyd, French79, or NTO.
