Nico Morano has been carefully setting the foundations for his much-anticipated launch of his own label, Ontourage Music. It kicks off in fine fashion with a brand new single featuring Nathan Nicholson and a remix from Moonwalk.
This vital Belgian artist has been making music and laying down compelling sets for more than 15 years now. He has always forged deepness with melodic class and played everywhere from clubs like the iconic club Fuse, to world famous festivals like Tomorrowland, Extrema, … Just to name a few. After releasing recently on the likes of Katermukke, Sincopat, Days Like Nights, Hive Audio, Récits the Mars, Selador, Atmosphere Records… amongst others, he now launches his own platform.
The original version of ‘Blackout’ is a dark and brooding house cut that comes alive with an exquisite lead and the soulful vocals of Nicholson. It is delicate and emotive and will make for some moments of real uniqueness on the dance floor. The Moonwalk remix is more edgy but just as melodic. Lush keys rain down from above and an epic breakdown really builds the tension before the groove drops again.
