OCULA – Rise

This kind of music.. makes you wonder what experience is like for the artist. To be able to create such fantastically magical musical landscapes with melodies and sounds that haven’t even existed till the artist brings them to life.. it’s really a wonder. Most electronic songs don’t have much new, they base their music off others’, and the others’ base theirs off others’ and it all sounds similar eventually. Lane 8 however, manages to get out releases that boggle the mind with the novelty they bring to the table, every single time .

Marsh feat. Mimi Page – Eu Topos (Official Music Video)

Since making his label debut on Explorations 07 in 2018, Marsh has solidified himself as a budding label favourite and future star. Championed by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kolsch, and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Marsh now continues his impressive run with the ‘Eu Topos’ EP.

Marsh’s tapestry of melodic sound-design is on full show, characteristically weaving driving bass and groove-laden percussion in ‘Eu Topos’ and ’Sit Tight’, and demonstrating his penchant for nostalgic melodies in ‘Joy’. Another fantastic standalone release, ‘Eu Topos’ signals some big things to come for 2020.

Taking inspiration from the concept of ‘utopia’ (derived from the Greek word ‘ou-topos’, meaning ‘no place’ or ‘nowhere’), Marsh has worked with @giovannyestrellaphoto to create a kaleidoscopic music video depicting peace, nature, and urbanity.

My Best Friend's Wedding (3/7) Movie CLIP – George Overplays His Part (1997) HD

CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Julianne (Julia Roberts) introduces George (Rupert Everett) to the wedding party, and he quickly makes friends with Kimberly (Cameron Diaz).

FILM DESCRIPTION:
A woman realizes that friends can be lovers, but now has to convince the friend in question in this romantic comedy. Michael O’Neal (Dermot Mulroney) and Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts) were romantically involved in college, and after breaking up, they have managed to remain close friends. For years, Julianne and Michael have had a pledge that if both were single when they turned 28, they would get married. Shortly before her 28th birthday, Julianne is lamenting the sad state of her love life when she gets a call from Michael, who announces that he has important news. Julianne is convinced that Michael is going to ask her to marry him, and she is crestfallen when he announces that he’s engaged to Kimmy Wallace (Cameron Diaz). Kimmy seems like the perfect woman for Michael; she’s sweet, pretty, bright, and adores Michael, and her wealthy family is just as fond of him as she is. But now that Julianne has realized how much she loves Michael, she’s not about to give him up without a fight — and isn’t afraid to fight dirty. Julianne’s uneasy ally in the battle for Michael’s affections is her friend and editor George Downes (Rupert Everett), a cheerfully out-of-the-closet homosexual who is not prepared when Julianne asks him to pose as her boyfriend.
